Literature Text

Aglow so soft in midnight sky,
Strong and silent, an eternal guide
Ever shining your gentle light,
A glimmering beacon in the night

Caress my face some Summer's eve,
Grant my soul a night's reprieve,
Light the sky so dark and deep
And pierce the black so I may see.

You are my guide in times forlorn,
The one to mend my heart when torn,
My constant friend in eve or morn,
A silent guardian with stars adorned.

Sometimes I feel so far below,
So out of reach, so without hope,
But even from afar you show
A better way, some hope to hold.

This is my thanks, my poem to you
A meager gift for all you do
Perhaps one day, you'll need me, too,
But at least for now, I guess this will do.

A light to guide my way back home,
A friend to hold when I'm alone,
No matter what, you always know…
…You are the moonlight on my soul.

It flows beautifully, with the rhymes to the descriptive words. It really touched me.... :happycry:
