Literature Text
Aglow so soft in midnight sky,
Strong and silent, an eternal guide
Ever shining your gentle light,
A glimmering beacon in the night
Caress my face some Summer's eve,
Grant my soul a night's reprieve,
Light the sky so dark and deep
And pierce the black so I may see.
You are my guide in times forlorn,
The one to mend my heart when torn,
My constant friend in eve or morn,
A silent guardian with stars adorned.
Sometimes I feel so far below,
So out of reach, so without hope,
But even from afar you show
A better way, some hope to hold.
This is my thanks, my poem to you
A meager gift for all you do
Perhaps one day, you'll need me, too,
But at least for now, I guess this will do.
A light to guide my way back home,
A friend to hold when I'm alone,
No matter what, you always know…
…You are the moonlight on my soul.
Strong and silent, an eternal guide
Ever shining your gentle light,
A glimmering beacon in the night
Caress my face some Summer's eve,
Grant my soul a night's reprieve,
Light the sky so dark and deep

Slenderman
Slenderman
Don't go out into the woods, my child.
For Slenderman lives there, out in the wild
Do not ask why he lives in that place
It is mostly because he has no face.
He has long arms that grab you
And take you to a place that will fill you
With dread, and you will wish that
You were dead

The Slender Man
I shouldn't be alone at night,
Though I'm eightteen,
A ten foot terror stalks me,
But only in my dreams,
His arms wide as if to hold me,
And suddenly I feel safe,
But I know if i go to him,
What will kill me is his embrace,
A fine tailored suit,
And long fingers spread,
Just the thought of him,
Fills my heart with dread,
I heard the stories when I was a child,
How he had no mercy mild,
I saw the videos on tv,
And when I die i know he will be the last thing I see,
Creeping through the house at night,
He watches as I sleep,
Daring me to wake,
Daring me to scream,
If I embrace him,
My soul will not remain,
If I give into

*Thump*
Wha-...What was that?
I wake up from a dreamless sleep just in time for the second blow.
*BOOM*
The walls shudder and suddenly I'm on the floor, gripping the carpet fiercely as the room rattles around me. I shut my eyes tight, hoping for the worst. Then, all of a sudden, the shaking of the house comes to a complete halt. No aftershock, no rumbling. Complete silence.
I stand up, dazed and confused, as I hear a small patter down the hallway coming towards my room. Scared breathless, I had no idea what to expect. Was someone trying to bomb us? Had someone broken in our house? I had no time to think.
The room was pitch dark, so I fe

It flows beautifully, with the rhymes to the descriptive words. It really touched me....
